I have the fortunate pleasure of going to traffic court. I am charged with a class B traffic misdemeanor; accident involving damage to a vehicle, and an infraction; following too close. The alleged incident in question supposedly took place in July, 2009. After appearing in court for a charge concerning this incident, I received a notice in the mail stating I had missed court for these current charges. The clerk had scheduled a mandatory court appearance in two different court rooms at the same date and time! The funny part is- I never saw, received, or signed any document relating to these charges. I only became aware of these charges over six months after the matter in question (with the failure to appear letter). When I called the clerk the records did indeed show I was at court, just not in two places at once. The hearing date was rescheduled and here I face it again. I sure hope my lawyer can pull something out of his bum to get this cleared up.Allard William
