Village West Wine Festival

Village West Wine Festival

I must say this year's Village West Wine Festival was a wonderful event.  The location was perfect, as was the weather. The people from K.C. Cause did a great job, as they always do.  Our hot sauce received positive feedback.  This helped in determining which sauce will see market first, which was an unintended yet delightful surprise. I wanted people to know that you can combine heat and intense amounts of flavor for a truly unique experience.  The sauce itself was granted a sneak peek, however, complimenting other food is its true 'wow' effect.  At a future trade show, or festival, this will be the goal.  I must say, I put in more money than I had preparing for this event.  I did not plan on a festival for at least six months, but now I have the supplies to do it, so some headache will be relieved at a later date.   Everyone at the festival was looking dapper, and the presentations from the vendors were lovely. On to the photos! You can click on each photo for a larger image.

The first is my table, just about complete.

It took a long time to pair this sauce with food.

It took even longer to get the displays delivered.

The Sauce Master.

I'm glad you made it, ladies, that made my day!

I had dried peppers to set out, but forgot for about two hours.  I still enjoyed my setup.

Some of the auction items.

Ladies of Cheeseburger in Paradise.

Lovely autumn display.

Popping some wine, and we're not even open yet!

Pardo's.  Can you say, "Yummy"?

More auction items.

Even More auction items!

Legends 14.

Jazz, my favorite place, ever.

Cabella's was serving up elk stew, so I heard!

The UV Vodka ice bar.  Wow!

Ice bar different view.

Ice cooler.

I was across from these glorious peeps all night.

Boulevard.  Naturally.

Tallgrass Brewing Company.

Nice design, pre-mob.

The only hardcore grill at the festival.  He told me he went through 300 Italian sausages in an hour or so.

Do I even have to write anything here? Oh yes; nom nom nom!

At night, about to pack up, I realized how much sauce I have left.  It's hard to make a small batch only. What to do with all of it...

I will be detailing each sauce in a post, as I always do...soon.
