Liz from Fountain City Cakes surprised me the other day with a giant chili pepper...cake! It is beautiful, with subtle airbrushed color variations representing the rich undertones a chili can produce, and a glittery sheen we expect from a perfectly produced pepper. I couldn't wait to cut into it and am glad I did. Underneath was a spice cake with layers of butter cream icing that made me melt! Nom nom nom!
