Sandwiches. Oh yeah. Burgers. Mmm. Sliders. NOM NOM NOM. I'm coming up with some sliders on my dinner menu this week, and needed some buns. It turns out, I had a failed white bread dough that worked well for the occasion. My white bread did not rise well enough for a loaf on the first rise, so I decided to punch it down, flatten it out, and use a mason jar to cut out the shapes for my buns. I let them rest for twenty minutes, sprayed with water, sprinkled sesame seeds on top, and stuck'em in the oven at 350 for 40 minutes. They are the perfect size, after rising in the oven. They are a tad too crispy for my taste, but I'll eat them nonetheless. I suppose I was going to toast them anyway.
