I know I haven't posted my dinner in awhile, so let me catch you up on my dinner last week. I didn't have much to eat- some chicken, some cheese, and that's about it. I wanted some pizza. Here's how it happened: I made some nice pizza sauce with herbs and spices and tomato sauce from the pantry. I boiled the chicken in a vegetable bouillon. I used 3 cups of flour, one tablespoon of sugar and one of salt, 1.25 tablespoons of yeast, and one cup of water at 108 degrees and made a nice dough. I let it rise for an hour then rolled it out into a nice round shape. I applied the sauce, cheese, chicken (that I cut up), and more cheese. I baked for 20 minutes or so and it came out looking like a champ.

I ate that puppy fast. All but two slices remained by the time I was finished. I was full, and happy. The crust was wonderful. It was the perfect size and density and held up well with the heavy toppings. It was yeasty and earthy- everything a crust should be. Did I mention that I brushed it with melted butter and garlic before topping it? Well, I did. Then I did it again after it was cooked.
