Unfortunately, today's harvest is thin. The heat is not helping my poor fruit ripen. The sun scalds my mature green peppers and for the unlucky ones, it means a week or two longer before they ripen. I did get some insanely large picks last week- about 3/4 of a paper grocery bag full. I have so many peppers some are falling off and drying out (instead of rotting, thank goodness- look at the shriveled Serrano). The only peppers thriving in the 100 degree heat are the Thai peppers. They are ripening every hour.
