Ribs.  I found Baby Backs on special for 3.99/lb.  I bought 2 fresh and meaty racks from the butcher's counter.  I rubbed them and massaged them until my mixture of mustard powder, garlic powder, thyme, ginger, onion powder, pepper, sea salt, and basil thoroughly penetrated the flesh.  I then poured in 10 oz of cola, a cup of water, and 4 tablespoons of vinegar along with 1/2 cup of BBQ sauce.  I baked at 350 for 1 hour, then finished those sombitches off on the grill for another hour using indirect heat, while gently but completely coating the ribs with Gates BBQ sauce (original).   The cornbread is made from scratch.  I used AP flour, bread flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder, buttermilk, oil, eggs, salt, and jalapenos.  I made an entire 9x14", 2" pan AND had more batter so I made cornbread muffins as well.   Guess I'll be sharing.  They weren't very sweet, which is just how I wanted them as I intended to dab them in honey during my meal.   I did, and it f&#&* rocked.  The salad is very simple and went well with the theme.  I got some Jicima, cucumber, and radishes.  Tossed them with vinegar, oil, wine, and dill seed, poppy seed, salt, and pepper.  Chilled for an hour.  YUM.  So, That's my meal.  Took me a few hours, which I don't like, but at least I have enough to eat for a few days.
