I think everyone should eat something different at least once a week. I eat something new several times a week, although I don't always blog about it. Cooking does take time... Tonight I had a piece of meat, and squash and green onion pancakes. All the ingredients of a pancake minus sugar and maybe butter, substituting sea salt, pepper, garlic, squash, and green onions. They are smashing! I added a tomato sauce, and discovered that it overpowered the pancakes. I brushed it aside as they were moist enough and savory enough to eat solo. The meat could have used more moisture. Overcooked meat is still meat and I gnawed on it like a caveman. I had more pancakes than shown in the pic below and ate every last one of them. I'd post the recipe if I got some comments every once in awhile.
